we first noticed the clothcraft clothes factory while driving along interstate 90 on the way to lakewood. the OBEYGIANT logo pasted onto the water tower drew our attention,

Located just outside of downtown cleveland, the clothcraft clothes factory was operated by THE JOSEPH & FIESS CO. it was founded in 1846, and was the oldest manufacturer of men's wear in this country and one of the oldest businesses in the state of Ohio. The company manufactured clothes for Hugo Boss.

unfortunately there was no chance of getting inside. there was a barbed wire fence surrounding the building and a patrol car was circling the area. the factory will probably be demolished soon, there was a sign advertising new townhouses to be built on the property.
